About Us

Founded in 2014 by the Espinoza Family – Javier, Carlos, Patricio, and Narcisa – our story is deeply rooted in a shared passion for the humble yet extraordinary bagel. Growing up, the Espinoza siblings gained invaluable business insights by helping their parents produce and sell cheese to local communities. These early experiences fostered a lifelong appreciation for business and entrepreneurship.

When the family arrived in the United States in the 1990s, their first jobs were in a bagel shop. It was there that they discovered a love for the art of bagel-making and dreamed of one day opening their own store. Before entering the bagel industry, they explored the chicken business, but the idea of a bagel shop always lingered in their minds. Finally, in 2014, their dream came to fruition with the opening of their first store.

Since launching, we’ve dedicated ourselves to crafting the perfect bagel, using traditional methods and high-quality ingredients. Our commitment to quality and community has made Pio Bagel a local favorite, allowing us to expand and share our love for bagels with even more people.
